      I Love Sugar Skull Workshops

      Learn how to design and decorate “calaveras de azúcar” (sugar skulls) for “Día de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead) in one of 3 workshops led by Rob-O of I Love Sugar Skulls on Sat., Oct. 12! Requires $15.00 per person materials fee for pre-made sugar skull and royal icing plus admission to all current exhibits including "El Arte de Las Almas: Día de Los Muertos 2019" and "¡Murales Rebeldes! L.A. Chicana/o Murals under Siege." Minimum of 10 participants per session required, and advance registration by 5:00 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 10 are recommended. To attend, register and submit payment using link at right. Space permitting, workshop sessions may be purchased starting at 10:00 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 12 in the Museum Store through the first 10 minutes of each session with cash or major credit card.  FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Workshop suitable for ages 5 and up.   What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Paid parking available in metered, on-street spaces, and $3 flat rate parking is available in hourly garage located at 1500 10th Street on Saturdays. The Museum is located at the Archives Plaza stop of Regional Transit’s Light Rail and a convenient transportation option for the event. Yes, please bring either a printed ticket or digital ticket displayed on a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) to check into workshop. Can I update my registration information? Yes, you may update your registration through the start time of your workshop. What is the refund policy? Refunds will be provided through 5:00 pm on Thurs., Oct. 10, 2019, via email to museuminfo@californiamuseum.org. Sorry, no refunds after 5:00 pm on Thurs., Oct. 10.
