      Cancer and Smoking Workshop: Keeping Our Pets Healthy

      UC Davis' Katherine Skorupski, a veterinary oncologist, and Cari Shulkin, a clinical nurse with health Management and Education, will address the impact of secondhand tobacco smoke on pets and what owners can do to keep them healthy. The program also includes a discussion of how to talk about smoking cessation with family and friends who smoke around pets. Learn about the free services and nicotine lozenges available from the Comprehensive Cancer Center to help people stop smoking and keep their pets healthy. Plus: Visit with dogs who come to UC Davis to promote student and staff wellness. Complimentary lunch for the first 50 guests.
