Featured Speakers: Kim Box, President & CEO, Gatekeeper Innovation, Inc. Kim Box is an Independent Director on the Board of McGrath Rentcorp (NASDAQ:MGRC) serving on the Compensation and Audit Committees and on the American River Bank (AMRB-NASDAQ) Board serving as the Chair of the Directors Loan Committee. Box is the President and CEO of Gatekeeper Innovation, Inc., makers of Safer Lock for securing prescription medications for safe keeping. She is a Director on the NorCal chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Box is a former Vice President at HP where she led a $1B global IT Services organization. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at California State University Sacramento. She is an international speaker and author of Woven Leadership – The Power of Diversity to Transform your Organization to Success. Terry Bayer, Corporate Director, California Water Service Group Terry Bayer has served on the board of California Water Service Group since 2014 and previously served on the Board of Apria Healthcare Group, Inc. from 2006 to 2008 --where she chaired the compliance committee and was a member of the compensation committee. Former Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Molina Healthcare, Inc., a publicly held managed care insurance provider, from 2005 to 2018. She also held management positions at Family Health Plan (FHP), Maxicare, Matria Healthcare, and AccentCare, Inc. She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Stanford University, her Master’s in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Bachelor’s in Communication from Northwestern University. Terry has many years of experience as an operating executive with a strong focus on government program compliance, public health and administration, as well as customer service. Her significant background and experience in healthcare supports the Cal-Water efforts in overseeing and advising on employee health matters. Her previous experience as a director of Apria Healthcare Group reinforces her perspective from the board level. Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire CEO, 2020 Women on Boards 2020 Women on Boards is a global education and advocacy campaign committed to building public awareness and momentum toward the goal of achieving at least 20% of all public company board seats to be held by women by the year 2020, the milestone 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote. During the workshop, Betsy delves into the weeds with all participants, coaching each how to best articulate her value-added experience in order to impress current board members she may already know. Participants become champions for advancing themselves and other women to boards. Betsy has presented many workshops for corporations and universities: Bank of America, University of Washington (Seattle), UCLA Anderson Business School, AIG, U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C., Citigroup, Reed Smith. Additionally, Betsy founded, and chaired for 17 years, the Los Angeles/Orange County chapter of Women Corporate Directors (WCD), a global nonprofit network of women currently serving on public and large private boards.
