Conduct a thorough examination of disability and family leave requirements, including:

      *The latest on the new pregnancy leave regulations, including pregnancy disability leave notices


      About the Presenters
      Carrie E. Bushman is a partner in the Sacramento office of Cook Brown LLP. Her practice includes traditional labor law, labor arbitrations, wage and hour law, prevailing wage and apprenticeship law, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and other employment discrimination matters. Ms. Bushman's practice also includes providing advice to employers on a variety of personnel matters, including family and medical leave issues, disability accommodation, employee handbooks, background checks, drug testing, discipline, and terminations.

      Lisa V. Ryan is a partner in the Sacramento office. Her practice includes representing management in the litigation of wage and hour matters, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, public works/prevailing wage, and labor law issues. Ms. Ryan also provides advice to clients on a variety of personnel matters, including drug testing, state and federal family leave, workers' compensation discrimination, and the WARN Act. She has argued appellate matters before the Third District Court of Appeal and has experience in handling administrative appeals.
